Iryna Shevchuk takes part in a Council of Europe project event

ENGARDE attorney Iryna Shevchuk, a member of the Rule of Law Committee of the Ukrainian National Bar Association, took part in the round table “Principles of administrative law in the relationship between the individual and public authorities”.

The event was organised by the Council of Europe project “Support to the Implementation of the Judicial Reform in Ukraine”. It presented the handbook “Administration and You” — the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights on the principles of good administration — and hosted an expert discussion of Council of Europe standards on the substantive and procedural principles of administrative law and administrative procedure, in the context of protecting individuals and legal entities in their dealings with public authorities.

Speakers included the President of the Administrative Cassation Court within the Supreme Court, Judge of the Administrative Cassation Court within the Supreme Court Myroslava Bilak, and experts and representatives of the Council of Europe.
