Iryna Shevchuk participated in the pilot of an educational course in human rights

ENGARDE’s senior associate, attorney-at-law Iryna Shevchuk participated in the piloting of a new educational course in human rights conducted by the Council of Europe within the HELP programme; the course bears the title “Admissibility Criteria for the Applications Submitted to the European Court of Human Rights.”  The course will be taught within the Council’s of Europe project “Enhancing Implementation of the European Human Rights in Ukraine”, which is carried out in partnership with the Ukrainian National Bar Association.

During the event the legal coaches of the European Court of Human Rights (the Court, ECtHR) presented in detail the information on the admissibility criteria, whereas the participants actively communicated with the lawyers currently working at the ECtHR, and asked process- and procedure-related questions regarding submission of applications to the Court and their respective admissibility criteria.
